Time to dust off your cameras and clapboards and get ready for lights, camera, and action!

The deadline for GIFF film submissions is 11:59 PM (PST) on August 1, 2025.

Submit a giff event

August 6-October 23, 2025

Up to three months before your Event, Submit your Event Cache on Geocaching.com. After your Event is published, submit the GIFF Event Form to Geocaching HQ (available after August 6).

Geocaching International film festival 2025

This year’s GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!” and the color is silver, the traditional gift for a 25th anniversary. Host or attend a GIFF Event to earn the GIFF 2025 souvenir!
