HOST AN EVENT

GIFF 2025 will be from November 6 - November 16, 2025. GIFF 2025 will extend over two full weekends! 

How to host an event

1. Read the FAQ and Tips for hosting an Event.

2. Up to three months before your Event, Submit your Event Cache on Geocaching.com and wait for it to be published by a community volunteer reviewer. Your Event must follow the geocache hiding guidelines.

3. After your Event is published, submit the GIFF Event Form to Geocaching HQ.

4. The GIFF team at Geocaching HQ will notify you by email when your Event is approved. This may take up to two weeks.

5. Approved Events can be seen on this mappable List of Events (coming soon!).

6. Get creative and add some fun to your Event. Then it's time to host!
